Home for a quick minute

So I am back from Winnipeg after a wonderful two weeks of teaching and performing. The students were wonderful, and we all learned a lot. I am playing with Rex Merriweather’s Big Band this week, and Travis Howard, then off to NYC for D’Haene’s birthday bash.
Travis in Nashville
November 3, 2006
Hey everyone, just did a great gig last night with the always fantastic Travis Howard. I was honored to share the stage with Miranda Lambert AND Scotty and Aden from her touring band. She sang some angelic backgrounds, and the fellas brought it fierce. Christopher Lawrence joined us from LA on pedal steel, and made the whole sound complete. It was a pleasure to make music with those gentlemen…and Travis too! Aden, Travis and myself also played with Waylon Paine, fresh off his appearance on CSI. It was a show as only Waylon can do, and it was fun to play with him again. Our musical friend Nathan Lee was there as well, and he and his band were wonderful as always. It was enjoyable for me to play 2 of 3 acts on the same bill, and I hope we get to do it again.
