Amy Cook and Miami Valley Jazz
June 26, 2007
I am just back from making a movie with Amy Cook. It was a wonderful experience, and great to make music with her again. Bobby and John were wonderful to me when I arrived from out of town, and I really appreciate them for thier musicianship and freindship.
I then went and was an Artist in Residence at the Miami Valley Jazz Camp in Centerville OH. I had 15 wonderful students, and we did some great playing and learning together. The staff there is amazing, and I enjoyed making music with them all week.
I am headed to NYC to rock with D’Haene as we get ready for our second record. Looking forward to rocking NYC and developing the new material that will be the new CD.

What People Are Saying About Sammy...
"Working at REMO I encounter many artists. It is always a pleasure when a persons incredible talent and musicianship matches their character. Sammy K is a good guy and one of the hardest working drummers I know." Mike DeMenno - REMO Inc / Manager of Remo Music Center
